01Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing or using Fold, you agree to these Terms of Use in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or this website, and uninstall Fold from your device.

02The waitlist

  • Joining the waitlist is free and does not guarantee access to Fold by any particular date.
  • Invites are sent in waves, generally in order of your place in line. Referrals can move you forward, as described on the site.
  • One entry per person. We may remove entries created automatically, in bulk, or to game referrals.
  • You can leave the waitlist at any time by unsubscribing or writing to us.

03Your content

You keep complete ownership of everything you create in Fold: text, photos, video, audio and anything else (“Content”).

Because Fold stores Content only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up. Fold is not liable for loss of Content caused by device damage, uninstalling the app, operating system errors or anything else outside our control.

04Acceptable use

Use Fold and this website lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it to infringe anyone else’s rights.

05Our name and mark

The Fold name, the crane mark, the app’s design and this website are ours. Cards you share from the app carry the Fold mark; you are welcome to share them anywhere. Please do not use the name or mark in a way that suggests we endorse you.

06“As is” provision

Fold is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

07Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers, maintainers and affiliates of Fold are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the app or this website.

08Disputes

Any claim or dispute arising from the use of Fold is governed by applicable law and will be resolved exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction.

09Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Fold grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
